Our family
We’re the Gordon family, based in Uganda and working with EMI. We moved from the UK to Kampala in 2018.
Our work
EMI Uganda is a design and construction consultancy working with ministries, NGOs, and churches to deliver buildings and infrastructure that bring restoration. We provide architectural, engineering and construction management services, typically taking projects from early concept through to completion, to see people restored by God and the world restored through design.
Our work is grounded in partnership. We come alongside ministry partners to develop culturally-appropriate, sustainable, affordable and transformational solutions for schools, healthcare facilities, churches and community projects. Alongside project delivery, we invest in training and mentoring, using real projects as a platform to develop early-career professionals and strengthen the built environment sector in Uganda.
